Update - July

Preparations for this years Odyssey are progressing very well and it's look like being a great event!

Everyone on the Odyssey Sub-committee has pulled together as a well-oiled team and assisted in every possible way to make this event a success.

Registrations are starting to flow-in, but we probably won't get the bulk until later this month and early next month.

We now have a motorcycle-hire business in Darwin, so if you're looking at flying up but would still like to have two-wheels whilst you're here, contact them by visiting their website and noting their contact details.



If you're intending to attend the Odyssey, you really need to get your accommodation organised now, as it's shaping-up to be a very busy tourist season and vacancies are going to be tight.

I've made a few other minor tweaks and tidied up a few bits n' pieces.

All is proceeding very smoothly and we've managed to keep the registration fee the same as for the '06 Odyssey at $80.00 per person.

If you're heading up for the Odyssey, make sure you book your accommodation EARLY and also arrange tyres, servicing, etc. EARLY as well!

Well, I've been working on the Top End website tonight and the links to the Odyssey website and this blog are now working!

There's still a stack of things to do and fix, but I'm learning as I go, so don't be holding your breath! :)

I've now taken over responsibility for the Top End Branch website and will be working furiously on that over the next few weeks.

The first order of business is to tidy-up the "Home" page and get links to the Odyssey website and this blog up and running.

New features & changes on the website

Here's what's changed (or is changing soon) on the website:

• The "What's On" page has been reformatted so as to be a bit better laid out.
• A link to this blog has been added to the "Contacts" page.
• Other minor tweaks.

• A "Darwin Information" page.
